An-Nahar newspaper reported on Wednesday that, for the first time in five months, March 14 alliance leaders will hold a meeting within the coming two days to discuss the current domestic developments.
The daily, however, did not elaborate further on the gathering.
This comes as tension has ignited after Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah questioned the credibility of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) earlier in July, calling it an Israeli project designed to create sectarian conflict in the country.
Last Thursday, Nasrallah claimed Hezbollah members would be named in the tribunal’s pending indictment for the 2005 assassination of former PM Rafik Hariri, which is rumored to be issued before the end of the year.
